Mr. Marshall Lovett Baker, 78, of Gerrardstown died Saturday, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Mr. Baker was the son of the late Gainer Thomas Baker and Eva Virginia Baker and the widower of Betty Katherine Baker. Also preceded by a brother, Hoover Belford Baker and a sister, Beverly Ann Baker.

He loved being with his family, he also loved yard work and going to yard sales. He hauled pallets and junk for many years. He retired from Inwood Quarry as a yuke driver.

He is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Henry and husband Randall of Gerrardstown, Betty Cain and husband Darrin of Glengary, Gail Peck and husband John of Bunker Hill; five grandchildren, Mark Lowman and wife Amanda of Hagerstown, MD; Denzil Baker and wife Samantha of Winchester, VA; Trina Peck of Inwood, Tonya Powell of Martinsburg, Keith VanMatre of Glengary and fourteen great grandchildren.

The family received friends 7-9 pm, Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the funeral home in Inwood.

The funeral services were held at 1:30 pm, Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel.

Burial was made in Gerrardstown Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
