Age 73, daughter of the late Herbert S. and Gladys A. Frye Millard. She emigrated to the U.S. in 1948, settling in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mrs. Odom attended and graduated from the University of Utah in 1963 with a degree in Elementary Education. She had been employed as a first and second grade teacher in Salt Lake City and Simi Valley, Calif. In 1987, she moved to Erie and had been employed as a secretary at the Dr. Gertrude A. Barber Center for several years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she had been an active member of the church Women's Relief Society. Mrs. Odom had also been an active member of T.O.P.S. and enjoyed reading and cake decorating.

Preceded in death by one sister, Rosemary Millard.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, D. Lee Odom; one daughter, Ann Odom of Erie; one son, Stephen L. Odom and wife Kim of Waterford; one sister, Miriam Winegar and husband Bob and one brother, Robert Millard, all of Salt Lake City, Utah; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
