MISS ERMA STEARNS
Canton, WI-Funeral services for Miss Erma Elizabeth Stearns, 16, were held last Thursday at the Canton Methodist Church with Rev. L. A. Lockhart of Cameron officiating. Interment was at Wayside Cemetery.

Miss Stearns the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Stearns of this vicinity was born at Russell, IA June 14, 1914. She was a junior in Barron High School and was also studing music. She died at St. Joseph's hospital, Chippewa Falls following a brief illness.

Surviving are her parents; one sister, Hazel; and there brothers, Verlyn, Guy and Kenneth.

Six girls were honorary pallbearers and flower girls at the funeral, Misses Dora Immerfall, Lillian McLellan, Ruth Lowell, Margaret Howland, Beulah McLellan, and Wilma Stuck. Six boys were active pallbearers.

Relatives from out of town who attended the funeral were Mrs. Albert Fenley, and sons Albert and Alwin of Moline, ILL; Mrs. C.C. Allen and son Keith of Lucas, IA; Mrs. Homer Vincent of Chariton, IA and Mrs. George Cherrie of Des Moines, IA.
