Wilma Furn Bartholomew, 96, of Casey died at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, February 3, 1998 at Birchwood Nursing Home in Casey.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 5 at Markwell & Son Funeral Home in Casey, with the Rev. Tom Marsh officiating. Burial was in Baird Cemetery, south of Martinsville. Visitation was from 9 a.m. till service
time on Thursday at the funeral home.

She was born January 30, 1902 in Waukomis, Okla., the daughter of Ober and Fannie (Paris) McFarland. She married Ernest F. Bartholomew in 1959 at Porterville, Ill., and he preceded her in death in 1972.

Survivors include four nephews, Duane, Loren and Larry Smith all of Casey and Denver Smith of Garland, Texas; two nieces, Lois Helen Smitley of Marshall and Fannie Kay Lingerfelt of Kissimmee, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters, Mildred Hall and Dot Smith.

Mrs. Bartholomew was a housekeeper and a member of the First
Baptist Church in Casey.
