Mrs. Ballard, who died Thursday, march 14, 2002, at East Alabama Medical Center, was born Aug. 16, 1935, in Waverly, Ala.
Mrs. Ballard had lived most of her life in Opelika. She was a member of the Beliver's Church in Auburn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayward Ballard.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna (Toby) Pitts of Opelika and Pam (Ed) Hale of Opelika; a son, Dr. Mack (Cathy) Ballard of Milledgeville, Ga.; three brothers, Charles Calhoun of Wetumpka, Ala., Herbert Calhoun of Lanett and James Calhoun of Lanett; six grandchildren, Valerie Staples, Brad Fulford, Ryan Fulford, Erin Faircloth, Samantha Hale and Kirstie Hale; and several nieces and nephews.
