Mr. John Anthony Wicker, age 61, of Sanford, N.C. died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Wicker was born in Lee County, N.C. on November 17, 1951, to the late Charles H. Wicker and Doris Fuquay Wicker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Richard Wicker and a sister Terry Wicker.
Surviving relatives include fiancé, Joyce Black; two sons, John A. Wicker Jr. and wife Nicki of Broadway and Bryan Wicker and wife Kimberly of Creedmoor; one brother, Michael Wicker of Swann Station; two sisters, Cynthia Myers of Broadway and Charlene Cummings of Mamers; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 7, 2013, from 6 to 8 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Friday March 8, 2013, at 11 AM at Swann Station Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Blackmon officiating.
Cremains will be interred at Cameron Grove Cemetery at a later date.
