Gabriel John Gallina, 76, of San Diego died Sunday of cancer. He was born in Kingwood, West Virginia, and came to San Diego in 1957. He was the Retirement Officer for the City of San Diego before going to work for the Port of San Diego, where he retired as Assitant Port Director in 1990.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Ann Gallina; daughter, Lisa Rose Gallina of San Diego; sons, Gabriel Vincent Gallina of Hillsboro, Ore., David Nathan Gallina of Nampa, Idaho, and John Mark Gallina of Trabuco Canyon; sister, Teresa Grace McGuire of England; brother, Peter Paul Gallina of West Virginia; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mass: 10:30 a.m. today, Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 2766 Navajo Road, El Cajon.
