Mrs. Irene C. Beeker
Irene C. Beeker, age 88, of Browns Summit, passed away Saturday March 9, 2013 at Wesley Long Hospital.
Interment will immediately follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Beeker was born March 22, 1924 in Greensboro to the late Stephen Cameron Clark and Sarah Elizabeth Hale Clark. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She received her education from Greensboro City Schools and McClung's Business College and worked for Cone Mills and Starr Electrical Company.
Irene Beeker was preceded in death by her husband Carl "Buck" S. Beeker Jr., brothers Rev. J. Morris Clark, W. Green Clark, Walter R. Clark, Stephen C. Clark Jr., and George H. "Doc" Clark, and sisters Lacey J. Lineberry, and Dovie C. Shaver.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews in the Brown Summit area.
