Theodore was the son of John Franklin Coffman and Elizabeth Irwin (Cobb) Coffman.
In 1850 his residence was Hopkins Co., Kentucky. In 1870, he was living in Burleson Co., Texas, at age 25.
He married Josephine Loberta Woolridge. Together they had four children.
Children of Theodore & Josephine:
1) Anna Coffman (1865-)
2) Hallie Coffman (1872-1880)
3) Minola 'Minnie Ola (Coffman) Lovejoy (1874-1947)
4) Theodore Coffman (1877-)

Theodore died in 1878. A couple years later, his wife, Josephine remarried, Washington Jefferson Tapp. Although she had remarried, she is buried next to Theodore.

Theodore is buried next Nancy Brown Coffman, wife of his brother, William Coffman, who is buried on the other side of Nancy. Theodore is in an unmarked grave.
