Truman Johnson of Greenfield, Indiana, died at the age of 75.
He worked as a welder for 40 years for Central Indiana Gas. He retired in 1992.
He was survived by his wife, Flora B. (Sweet) Johnson of Greenfield, Indiana; his sons, Herb Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana, Roger Johnson, Sr. of Greenwood, Indiana, Ron Jonson of South Bend, Indiana, and Don Johnson of Greenfield, Indiana; his brother, William Johnson of Cincinnati, Ohio; his sister, Ilena Oaks of Irvine, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. His caregivers were Roger Johnson and Carey Johnson of Greenfield, Indiana. Also, Truman raised four brothers-in-law as his own sons: Ray Sweet, Ralph Sweet, Lawrence Sweet, and Walter Sweet.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Johnson and Louetta (Frye) Johnson; his daughter, Carol Sue Johnson; his brothers, Arthur Johnson and Arnold Johnson; and his sister, Naomi Cooper.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home in Greenfield, Indiana.
