Homer Edward "Eddie" Burris, 62, of Belle died Feb. 25, 2004, in Beverly Health Care after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.

He was preceded in death by his father, Homer V. Burris.

He was a retired, self-employed welder, an Air Force veteran and a member of Judson Baptist Church and the Charleston Moose Lodge.

Surviving are his son, Michael Edward Burris of Belle; daughter, Bridgett Lynn Tineo of El Paso, Texas; mother, Rosalie Burris of Belle; brother, Thomas Burris of Akron, Ohio; and grandchildren, Nikolas and Brandon Tineo, both of El Paso.

Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. George Pauley officiating.
