Thousands of fans who have watched the splendid career of Walter J. (Rabbit) Maranville as a shortstop on the Boston Braves, will sympathize with him in the loss of his young wife, whose funeral was held yesterday at Springfield, Mass, her birthplace and home for many years. She was only twenty-two years of age, and her death is especially sad. Her husband, an infant daughter, Elizabeth, a sister and two brothers survive.
