Dana Terry 84, Joplin, formerly of Leach OK. passed away Thursday at Freeman West Hospital after an illness. She was born March 26, 1928 in Leach to the late James Robert Smith and Jasey E. Sanders Smith and had lived in Joplin for two years. She worked s a nurse technician for several years and prior to moving to Joplin, she attended the Willeo Baptist Church in Inola OK.
Dana married James L.Terry July 1, 1952. He preceded her in death July 30, 2004. She is survived by five daughters, Sandra Hargrove of Yorba Linda, CA. Sherry McClure and Sheila Munn both of Tulsa OK. Susan Pederson of Las Vegas NV. and Sybil L.Pletcher of Joplin, six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren, as well as other family members who mourn her passing.
Graveside services for Dana wll be 2p.m. Tuesday March 12, in the Elm Cemetery at Leach OK. with Rev. Phil Dark officiating.
