Fred O'Hara, 80, died Sunday, March 10, 2013 in Pampa.

Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday at Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Jim Sinyard of the Carpenter's Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mr. O'Hara was born July 3, 1932 in Patterson, Arkansas. As a young child, his family moved to Pampa where he has resided ever since. Fred attended Pampa schools. He married Mary Frances Hays in 1962 in Ventura, California. She preceded him in death in 2003. Fred worked for Panhandle Packing Co. for 10 years and later worked for Arthur Brothers and Munday for 18 years. He was a member of the Carpenter's Church. In his spare time, Fred liked to fish and was a member of the Bass Club. Also, he was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan.

Survivors include a daughter, JoAnn Farriell of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Patricia Weaver and husband Ken of Plano; a brother, Lewis O'Hara and wife Louise of Wilburton, Oklahoma; a sister-in-law, Doris Puckett of Pampa; a grandson, Allen Farriell of Katy; a granddaughter, Angela Campbell and husband Zach of Katy; a step grandson, Kyle Weaver of Fayetteville, Arkansas; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Fred was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Michael Farriell; 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.
