She was born Sept. 18, 1937 in Halifax County and was the daughter of the late Bob Millner and Lottie Montgomery Bliss. She was a retired machine operator at Presto Products.
Ms. Pokie Novella MIllner Bliss is survived by three sons, James Bliss of Alton, Dennis Bliss of Bethel Hill, N.C., and Edward Bliss of South Boston.
Graveside services will be held at Clover Cemetery on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ronnie Simpson officiating.
