Charles F. Jeffords, 81, of Tampa, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 7, 2013 under hospice care. He was born October 19, 1931 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Frederick and Ann Jeffords. He graduated from the University of Dayton and retired from GMAC after 32 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching Dayton Flyer basketball and Notre Dame football. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Ruth; and his sister, Ruth Jeffords. He is survived by a close and loving family; his beloved sons, beloved daughter, adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended relatives of the Jeffords family including his sister, Mary Ann Downs. A funeral mass will be held with a committal service to follow at the Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
