Patrick Lee Humphrey, age 57, of Houston, TX, formerly of Benham, KY, passed away on Thursday, March 07, 2013, at the Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital. He was born May 20, 1955 to Raymond and Wanda Compton Humphrey of Benham, KY. Patrick was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan and loved hockey. He received a degree in computer science at the University of Houston and worked as a computer programmer.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, CC and Irene Compton and Henry and Mollie Humphries.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Cindy Humphrey of Benham; aunts, Betty Boggs, Geraldine Rodda and Sheila Blalock of Georgia; and a host of other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held for Patrick on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at 1 PM in the Benham Cemetery in Benham, KY with Mitchell Osborne officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the American Diabetes Association.
