Major League Baseball Player. He was a second baseman making his debut for the Philadelphia Athletics on April 17, 1886. For thirteen seasons, he played with the Philadelphia Athletics (1886-89), Brooklyn Ward's Wonders in 1890, Pittsburg Pirates (1891-96) and St. Louis Browns (1897-98). He finished his baseball career with a record of 1521 hits, 34 homeruns, 821 runs scored, 839 runs batted in and a .267 batting average.
