Marian was the daughter of Cora Clarke Wilhelm and Homer Otis Wilhelm. Her father died suddenly and Cora raised Marian and her brother Wilbur to adulthood. Marian married Ai Edgar Asbury III on Sept. 15, 1939/40 in Omaha, Neb. They moved on to Colo. and had two sons Martin Sanborn Asbury and Thomas Sydnor Asbury. Martin died suddenly on Apr. 22, 2007 in Littleton, Colo. Martin was born Mar. 23, 1942 in Denver, Colo.
