BOUNTIFUL - Kenneth Carlos Smith, August 20, 1905 --March 15, 1995.
A Davis County resident, a son of Moses C. and Edith Adams Smith, graduated from LDS Business College. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He enjoyed gardening, good books and music.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; served as Young Men's president and Sunday School president; directed plays and was secretary to several organizations. He retired from Utah State Agricultural Dept. 1970.
His philosophy: "It is not important what your vocation is but how well you perform in the particular work you are doing. There isn't anything that will give you more gratification and joy than a job well-done."

He married Verla Maud Stringham in the Salt Lake LDS Temple 1933; later divorced. He married Alice Whitesides 1959.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Alice W. Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Jolene Smith; daughter, Sondra Ertman; daughter and son-in-law, Colette and LaMar Stringham; Alice's children and spouses, Charlotte and James Beck; Cal and Elaine Whitesides; and Rosalee Wood; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the graveside in Farmington City Cemetery, Saturday, March 18, 1995, at 1 p.m. Friends may call from 11:30-12:30 at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 North 400 East.
