Beverly J. Patton, 69, Aledo, died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, at Mercer County Hospital, Aledo.

Memorial services are 7 tonight at Esterdahl Mortuary Ltd., Moline. Graveside services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at National Cemetery, Rock Island.

Visitation is 5 p.m. to service time. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. The body will be cremated.

Beverly J. Kemerling was born May 6, 1930, in Kewanee, to Lawrence and Elnora Appleby Kemerling. She married Kenneth D. Patton Jan. 24, 1948, in Moline.

She was employed as a data processor supervisor with Eagle Signal retiring in 1973 after 20 years of service. After her retirement she helped her husband farm in the Aledo area. She enjoyed crafts and fishing and was an avid Cubs fan.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Jeff Smith, Steamboat Springs, Colo., and Cheryl and Bob Lyon, Aledo; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Kayse Patton, Crowly, Texas; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis Brunswig, Ocala, Fla.; and a brother, William Kemerling, Milan.
