Francisca was born on January 9, 1925. She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel.
She is preceded in death by her daughters, Rosario Barron and Juanita Barron Rocha; 2 sisters, Merced Miranda and Esperanza Soto; and her parents, Jose and Cruz Rangel Barron.
She survived by her 6 sons, Jose (Maxi) Saldivar, Juan (Kathy) Costilla, Francisco (Betty) Niles, Alvaro (Camila) Rocha, Alberto (Frances) Saldivar, and Calvin (Irma) Reyes; 5 daughters, Guadalupe Barron, Adela (+Alberto) Contreras, Cecilia (Juan) Reyes, Socorro (JoeRay) Rodriguez, and Esperanza (Roberto) Rodriguez; 53 grandchildren and 67 great grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Interment at Port Isabel City Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Alberto Saldivar Jr., Ricardo Rocha Garza, Marcus Cortes, Miguel Cortes Jr., Isaac Martinez, and David Contreras.
