Mr. Bobby Bruce "Bob" Humphrey, Jr., 55, died suddenly Saturday night (March 9, 2013) at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross.
He was a native of Waycross and had lived most of his in Waycross and Broxton. He was a self employeed painting contractor. He was a 1975 graduate of Ware County High School and a graduate of Georgia Southern.
Survivors include a son, Matthew Bruce Humphrey of Macon; his parents, Bobby and Joyce Humphrey, Sr. of Waycross; a sister, Lynn Gentry (husband John) of Ft. Myers, FL; a brother, Terry Humphrey of Ovieda, FL; a niece, Kiersten Bordner (husband Chris) of Ovieda, FL; a nephew; Brett Pelfrey (wife Ashley) of Winter Springs, FL; and several aunts, uncles and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (March 12, 2013) at Pineview Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the Church Tuesday morning from 10 until 11. Music Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
