She married her husband, Robert on June 3, 1978 in Bay Head and worked at his side in establishing his oral surgery career as his office manager, surgical assisisant, and radiology technician. In addition, she was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow from the Brick Rotary Club, Afternoon Division, for her years of charitable work with that organization.
Susan was a selfless and loving woman and enjoyed living at the Jersey Shore with her family and pets. She was kind-hearted and helped every living creature she could, including her daughter, Cristina Goodwin, who was adopted by her and her husband in 1990 from Bucharest, Romania. All friends and family both in and out of the area loved Susan. She was the sweetest woman to everyone who knew her and will be dearly missed.
The funeral service will be at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, Point Pleasant, NJ.
