Sally Liana Adams was born on May 24, 1951 in Pontiac, Michigan. Her proud parents were Frederick Merrill "Fritz" M.D. and Liana Louise "Lou" (nee Carpenter) Adams. She died on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 in the loving care of her family and the staff of the Inn at Cass Lake in Waterford, Michigan. She was 61years of age.
Sally was a former resident of Birmingham, Michigan. She graduated from Birmingham Seaholm High School in 1969. She received her Associates Degree in Horticulture from Michigan State University. She was a longtime horticulturist at English Gardens and Frank's Nursery.
Sally was devoted to her parents and family. She treasured her time on family outings to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Glen Lake in northern Michigan. She enjoyed a lifelong love of gardening and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan…especially at the old Tiger Stadium.
Sally was the beloved wife of Charles T. Gorman and they were married for 26 years. Daughter of the late Fritz M.D. and Lou Adams. Dear sister of Fred Adams, Jr. (Cheryl), Dick Adams (Robin), Bob Adams and Holly Lakey (Bill). Also survived by 11 nieces and nephews. Her family appreciates the loving care of Steven Albery and Barb Burrow. She is also survived by her cat, Trooper.
Sally's memorial service will be held Friday, August 10, 2012 at 11am at First Presbyterian Church, 1669 W. Maple, Birmingham, Michigan, Memorial tributes to the Inn at Cass Lake, Waterford, Michigan 48328.
