Willie "Bank" Franklin Parrish, Sr., age 86, of Greenville, NC, passed away March 10, 2013, in Vidant Medical Center.
He was a longtime member of Mt. Ararat Holiness Church of Henderson, NC and Bible Tabernacle of Nashville, NC. He retired from Krispy Kreme after 40 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Parrish.
He is survived by one son, Willie Franklin Parrish, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Hilda Parrish
of Greenville, NC; three grandchildren, Glenn Parrish of Rocky Mount, Michael Parrish of Greenville, Linda Robinson of Nashville; five great-grandchildren, Joshua, Madison, Hannah, Hunter and Jacob; two brothers, Jimmy Parrish of Knightdale and Oliver Parrish of Knightdale.
A Celebration of "Bank's" Life will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount, NC, with the Reverend Allen Ayscue officiating.
Interment will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday, March 11, 2013, from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM at the funeral home.
