Bernice Mae Huber, 84, of Coal Center, Pa., died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004.

She was born Jan. 31, 1920, in East Pike Run, a daughter of the late Paul and Agnes (Spence) Abercrombie.

Bernice loved baking and cooking. She especially loved her family and preparing dinner for them every Sunday.

In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, the late Edward Huber in 1995; and three brothers, Paul, Leon and Wilber Abercrombie.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters and sons-in-law, Marion and Lester Wentz of Buffalo, Wyo., and Marlene and Albert Baumgard of Coal Center, Pa., with whom she made her home; a sister, Louise Watson of Butler, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Tina Wheatley, Matt Baumgard, Clay Baumgard, Natalie Vig, Dale Wentz, Daniel Wentz and Darren Wentz; and several great-grandchildren, Jake, Lacey and Chloe Wheatley, Conner and Bailey Vig, Matilyn Baumgard, Colton and Tyler Baumgard and Haley Wentz.

Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa., on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, from 10 a.m. to noon. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at noon on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, with the Rev. Cliff Reynolds officiating.

Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Garwood Baptist Church, Scenic Drive, Daisytown, Pa.
