Patricia Elaine North, 60, died Monday, June 3, 2002 at her residence in Abilene. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, with Leao McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
She was born on March 9, 1942 in Rotan, Texas to Howard and Dessie Watley Gartman.
Pat was a 1959 graduate of Post High School, and moved to Abilene from Jayton, Texas in 1981.
She was an Employment Service Coordinator for Abilene State School Human Resources.
Pat married John Ira North on August 5, 1983 in Abilene.
She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ruby Ray.
Survivors include her husband, John North of Abilene; a daughter, Roni Kidd and husband, Kenny, of Lovington, New Mexico; a sister, Ellen Wiley of Bedford; and a grandson, Jacey Kidd of Lovington, N.M.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Luther, Gary Bridwell, Danny Bolin, and Mike Petrencik.
