BOYD, LOUIS EDWARD, III
Louis Edward Boyd III, 36, died on Sunday, March 22, 2009, in Amite. He was a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Maurepas.
Survivors include his beloved long-time companion, Leah Guidry and their daughter Jolee, of Maurepas; father, Dr. Louis E. Boyd Jr., Maurepas; mother and stepfather,
Jacki and Max Hungerford, Gueydan; grandmother, Josephine Tucker, Gueydan; and aunts and uncles, Judy and Mike Schoolcraft, Gilmer, Texas and Nancye and Whitney Duhon, Gueydan.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack Tucker and Louis E. and Daisy Lee Boyd.
Visitation at Geisler Funeral Home of Ponchatoula, on Tuesday, March 24 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting on Wednesday after 9 a.m. until the service at noon.
Interment will follow in Killian Baptist Church Cemetery.
