Funeral services were held on September 15, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Many, LA with Rev. Cyle Clayton officiating. Burial followed in the Ft. Jessup Cemetery.
Mrs. Wells was born on October 29, 1928 in Kiowa, KS and passed away on September 13, 2007 in Natchitoches, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lawrence Wells; son, David Wells; brothers, Ted Zimmerman and Jimmy Zimmerman.
She was survived by her son, Danny Wells and wife Cherry of Many, LA; sister, Winona Watkins of New Jersey; brother, Delbert Zimmerman of Pratt, KS; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
