Jacob Colter of Wyaconda the son of Elijah and Frances Wolf Colter, was born near Revere, MO on March 17, 1896, and died Dec. 6, 1943, at Wesley Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL.
He was married to Miss Stella Irene Barrows of Kahoka, on May 3, 1916.
They were the parents of two sons, Ronald Milton and Jacob Robert Colter.
Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Lowell VanFossen of Revere.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 9, Rev. V.T. Wood of Canton, from the Christian Church, Wyaconda, MO of which Mr. Colter was a member conducted the service.
Burial was in the Wyaconda Cemetery.
