Mrs. D. Elmer Plank died at her home, 256 South Potomac street on Wednesday after a ten-day illness. She is survived by her husband; mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Adams; and the following sisters: Mrs.(sic-Miss) Sarah Adams and Mrs. H. R. Rudy, of Hagerstown, and Mrs. Clyde H. Wilson, and two grandchildren, Daniel and Mary Plank, of Chicago. Mrs. Plank had many friends and was well known in the city and community. She was the daughter of the late John U. Adams, for many years editor of the Daily News, now the Morning Herald. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Funeral from the late home, 256 South Potomac street, Friday at 5 p.m. Interment in Rose Hill.
