Anita was a 1984 graduate of Lufkin High School; attended Angelina College; graduated from Richard & Joseph Beauty School & afterwards obtained her license in Cosmetology.

She was a member of Memorial Chapel where she sang in the choir and later received her calling to the Ministry on March 1, 1997. She was a Minister over the Missionaries & Stewardesses, past President of the Young Adults, a member of the Mighty Women of God & V.P. of Young Adults of the Southeast Texas Annual Conference.
