Millard "Randy" Allen, Jr. Services for Millard "Randy" Allen, Jr. will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Mike Russell and Reverend George Mosley officiating. Burial will be in Toomsuba Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Allen, 67, of Meridian died Sunday, January 26, 2014, at Mississippi State Veterans Home in Kosciusko, Mississippi. He was a graduate of Meridian High School and Mississippi State University, where he earned a degree in engineering. He worked for Southern Company and was owner of Allen Engineering Services. Randy was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and served two tours in Vietnam. He will be remembered as a loving family man and he loved his church, Oak Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of forty- three years, Terry G. Allen of Meridian; son, Dr. Grant Allen and wife Brandi of Florence, Alabama; daughter, Joie Brown and husband Stephen of Spring Hill, Tennessee; grandchildren, Drew Allen, Lucy Allen, Ruth Allen, Christie Marie Brown, Tucker Brown and Seren Brown; sister, June Pegues and husband Jim of Hattiesburg and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lottie and Millard Allen; sisters, Mildred Morgan and Jane Allen. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Oak Hill Baptist Church Building Fund. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at robertbarhamffh.com.
