GEORGE M. GREEN,
STRICKEN AT WORK,
DIES AT HOME
George Malcomb Green, 52, lifelong resident of Porter County residing at 905 Oak street, died a 9 p.m. at Porter Memorial hospital. He was stricken Tuesday with a heart attack while at work.
A son of Lewis and Della (Jones) Green, he was born in Porter County March 30, 1898.
On March 6, 1920, he married Lura Hazel Taylor in the First Methodist church in Valparaiso.
For a number of years he was employed at Indiana Steel Products company. He was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are the widow, two sons, Lester Maurice Green, at home, and George Ross Green, stationed at Lackland Airforce Base, San Antonio, Tex.; five daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Coslett, Valparaiso, Mrs. Alice Pierson, Lynn, Ind., Mrs. Gracie Gocus (?), LaPorte; Misses Wilma Green and Sue Della Green, at home; four grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Maud Field and Mrs. Gracia Zarth, Valparaiso; Mrs. Mabel Wilson, Hebron; Mrs. Florence Smith, Happy Camp, Calif.; Mrs. Edna Murray, Hobart and Mrs. Dorothy Oldham, Valparaiso; two brothers, Mark Green, RFD 3, Valparaiso and William Green, Valparaiso.
Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced tomorrow.

TO BE HELD ON SUNDAY
Memorial services for George Malcomb Green, 905 Oak, who died Thursday night in Porter Memorial hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bartholomew funeral home, 103 Monroe , with the Rev. Harvey J. Kieser, of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Luther cemetery in Washington township.
Friends may call at the Bartholomew Funeral home until time of services.
