Elizabeth V. Gilliland, a 13 year resident of California City, died in her home on October 2, 1999. Gilliland was born in Kansas City, KS on February 19, 1912. She was survived by her daughter, Patricia Winn; her son-in-law Edward Winn; and her sister Clara Rowland, all of California City. A memorial service conducted by Father Gracey will be held Oct. 8, 10 a.m. at the California City Memorial Park.
