C. L. Massey Fatally Injured In Accident at Power Plant
Clarence Lee Massey, aged 44, died in the City Hospital at 10 o'clock Monday morning from injuries, allegedly sustained at the power plant of the T. P. & L. Company. It was reported that Mr. Massey, an employee of the plant received his alleged injuries when he started to turn on a switch, and an explosion occurred about 7 o'clock. He was rushed to the City Hospital where he died a few hours later, as stated above.

Funeral arrangements have not been made, pending word from his son, Pvt. Ernest Wayne Massey of the U.S. Army, who is stationed at Camp Roberts, Calif., but will be in charge of the Massie Funeral Home of this city where the body will remain until the services are announced.

Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Lillie Mae Hagin; one son, Pvt. Ernest Wayne Massey; his father, T. W. Massey, one sister, Mrs. Roland Jones of Anna and the following brothers: Homer L. Massey of Dallas; Rev. E. W. Massey of Stephensville and Elmer T. Massey of Prosper.
