Mrs. Bailey died Thursday, March 7, at her residence. She was born Sept. 2, 1935, in Cullman to Johnnie Garland and Ophia Mae Landers Pearson. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Thomas Pearson; a sister-in-law, Nancy Pearson; and a son-in-law, Joseph Richards.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Sanford Bailey; two sons, Darryl (Teresa) Bailey and Clinton Bailey; five daughters, Denise (Larry) Anderson, Camellia Richards, Josie Stanford, Sherri (Robert) Barber and Celia Bladow; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, June (Ronnie) Moon; and two brothers, Wallace (Carol) Pearson and Jerome Pearson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Proverbs 31, v. 28: Her children arise up and call her blessed. v. 29: Many daughters have done virtuously, but you excellest them all.
