Mr. Williams was born on March 17, 1943, the son of Joseph and Grace (Wells) Williams.
He was a graduate of Clay City High School and lived most of his life in Wayne and Richland Counties. He was self-employed in the oil industry and a lifelong member of Shiloh Methodist Church in Wayne County. He served in the Army National Guard.
Mr. Williams is survived by a daughter, Mandy Luce and her husband, Bob of Wood River; a son, Jeremy Williams and his wife, Amanda of Muncie, Ind.; a grandchild, Andrea Luce; two brothers, Neal Williams of Mt. Erie and Clarence Williams of Olney and two sisters, Mrs. Martha Barwegen of Atlanta, Ga. and Mrs.Polly Cummings of Greenville, S.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
