OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Little Zion Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA, for Anita R. Brown, 69, who entered eternal rest, Saturday, April 14, 2012, at her residence, in Opelousas, LA.
Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park in Opelousas, LA. Rev. Faltry Jolivette will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence Brown of Opelousas, LA, her children, Michelle Brown of Atlanta, GA, Lawrence Brown, Jr. of Sacramento, CA and Bridgette Grindstead of Opelousas, LA; two sisters, Dianne Thomas of Opelousas, LA and Martha Ann Eaglin of Lafayette, LA; a brother, Glenn Rideau of Opelousas, LA; 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and special friends.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Eula Rideau; a brother, John Rideau and a sister, Mary Lou Rideau.
Visiting hours will be observed from 7:00 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Williams Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA and 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Little Zion Baptist Church.
