"Richard L. Hanneman of Fredericksburg passed away on Sunday March 3 in the Hill Country Memorial Hospital at the age of 95.

He was born on January 21, 1918 to Richard W. and Johanna Hanneman Nee Trenkorst in Chicago Illinois. He served his country during WWII in the Navy. In 1943 he married Dorothy Stoebig, after Dorothy's passing he married Anna Mae Coffman who also preceded him in death in 2010. He earned a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from SMU and worked at Texas instruments and later Western Electric. Among his many interest were wood working, gardening, working around the church, teaching Sunday School, and stamp collecting.

Mr. Hanneman is survived by his daughters Christine Seifert and husband Wayne of Fredericksburg, Hope Benjamin and husband Richard of Frederick MD, son Paul Hanneman of Sweetwater TX. Six grandchildren Debbye Meszaros, Sean Benjamin, James Benjamin, Rebekah Hope Kennedy, Doyle Sims, Kristie Borman; 6 great grandchildren Amanda Meszaros, Noah Meszaros, Aurora Ann Kennedy, Trillany Sims, Devin Sims, Rueben Borman.

He is preceded in death by Parents Richard W. and Johanna Hanneman, first wife Dorothy Hanneman nee Stoebig, second wife Anna Mae Hanneman nee Coffman, brother Frank Hanneman, sister Bertha Urban and grandson Frank Hanneman."
