Karen L. Schultz, 71, of Tuscola passed away at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday (March 5, 2013) at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

She was born Aug. 11, 1941 in Decatur to Glenn Lester and Goldia Juanita Dial Boyd. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Duane Glenn Boyd. She married Charles Stanley Schultz on July 29, 1962 in Arthur. He survives.

Also surviving are five children, Kelly (Rich) Whittington, Mitchell (Michelle) Schultz, Nikki Hausmann, Stacy (Mike) Goodman and Lisa (Mark) Malan; one brother, Mac Boyd; three sisters, Juanita (Gene) Parrott, Phyllis (Wally) Baker and Becky (Dave) Hausmann; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
