Rev. Joseph Edward "Bud" Baze, 76, of Cleburne, entered into his Heavenly home on March 5, 2013. Service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 9 at the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Alvarado. Interment will follow at Auburn Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Clayton Kay-Vaughan Funeral Home.
Rev. Baze was born on August 21, 1936 in Milford to James Edward and Leona Busby Baze. He married the love of his life, Mary Strength, in November of 1956 and they were blessed with 6 children. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Pamela; granddaughter, Jordan; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Baze; sons, Rev. James Baze and wife, Jimmie of Cleburne, Rev. David Baze and wife, Johnna of Carthage, Rev. Jonathan Baze and wife, Sarah of Hillsboro; daughters, Patricia Mullins and husband, Everett of Cleburne, Deborah Dowdy and husband, Chris of Cleburne; brothers, Rev. Bob Baze and Rev. Robert Baze; sisters, Ruby Record, Nell Adams, Ruth Rodriguez; 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
