Mrs. Sadie Kephart Craig, wife of Thomas J. Craig, died Tuesday night after a long illness aged 48 years. She was born at Millport, Knox county, and was married to Thomas J. Craig, December 10, 1888. To this union six children were born, Wade S., of Los Angeles, Cal., Artie Amelia, of St. Louis, Myrtle E.[,] Mary F. and James T. of Kirksville. Mabel Ivie died May 6, 1908. Mrs. Craig was a member of the Presbyterian church, and a woman of fine Christian character. She was the light and joy of an ideal home, and the family have the deepest sympathy of the entire community. Funeral took place from the home Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. A.F. Zeigle conducted the funeral service. Burial in Llewellyn cemetery.
