Morgan Ernest Barnes, 77 of Little Rock died Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born March 12, 1935 in Thornton, Arkansas. He was a retired painter for Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewell Barnes and Esther Paganoni-Barnes.

Mr. Barnes is survived by his wife, Shirley Crawford Barnes of Little Rock; two daughters, Lea Annette Mabry of Little Rock and Evelyn Renee Williams of Russellville; one sister, Clara Shrum of Fordyce; five grandchildren, Mica J. Williams of Russellville, Stephanie Freedle of Prairie Grove, Matthew Morgan Hamblen of North Little Rock, Rachel L. Williams and Jacob D. Williams both of Russellville; and five great grandchildren.
