ELIZABETHTOWN, Ill. — Samuel Fred Frazier Jr., 88, of Elizabethtown died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Hardin County Hospital in Rosiclare.

He was a member of Rosiclare First Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge No. 1144, and a 32nd Degree Shriner of York Rites.

He is survived by his wife,Velma Frazier; one son, Charles R. Soward of Rosiclare; one daughter, Kimberley F. Cotton of Henderson, Ky.; two sisters, Alice Scarry of San Diego, Calif., and Jane Covert of Texas; eight grandchildren, and eight great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters. His parents were Samuel Fred Frazier Sr. and Geraldine Frazier.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Cox Funeral Home. Private funeral services will be held later and interment will be in Empire Cemetery.
