Nita, beloved wife of Henry, died Wednesday, February 25, 2004 in Culver City, CA, after a short illness.

She was born to Orvin and Hazel Jeffs Drysdale in Salt Lake City, UT on July 17, 1929.

Nita attended UCLA and later graduated from Otis Art Institute, Los Angeles, CA. Her lifelong pursuits were landscape painting and sculpture. She was the devoted mother and grandmother of sons Wayne, Steven, James and daughter, Mary Elaine; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Survived by her loving husband, Henry; sons, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, and brother, Orvin Dick Drysdale. Preceded in death by her parents and her daughter.

Services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., where friends and family may call from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Murray City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the art program of: St. John the Baptist Schools, c/o Advancement Office, 300 E. 11800 So., Draper, UT 84020.
