Funeral services for Margaret N. Cook, 84, of Sellersburg, IN, will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2 to 8 PM and on Tuesday from 9 to 1 PM at the funeral home. She went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
She was born and raised in Utica, IN, and was a member of Resurrection Life Church of Jeffersonville.
She is survived by her three children, Mary Vincent and husband Dwight, of Clarksville, IN, Alice Doyle and husband John, of Shelbyville, KY, and Steven Cook and wife Debbie, of Palmyra, IN; sibling, Henry Oberlies "Bud;" 10 grandchildren, Tonya Collins, Jeremy Vincent, Jay Vincent, Mary Lou Humphrey, Jason Cook, Josh Cook, Jennifer Craven, Troy Doyle, Sherry Perry and Jamie Doyle; 27 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest W. Cook; daughter, Glenna Rae Cook; parents, Henry and Maggie Oberlies; and three siblings, George Oberlies, Mary McDonner and Faye Davis.
