Noah Robert Rockel, age 64 of New Lebanon, Ohio passed away March 6th 2013, surrounded by friends and family. Born in Dingess, West Virginia.

Preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Jane (Shrewsbury) Rockel: and brothers Scott and Ricky Rockel.

Survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Glinda (Sperry) Rockel: daughter Erika Zimpfer and grandchildren Colton and Kylie Zimpfer: brothers David (Connie) Rockel, Larry (Debbie) Rockel, and Mark (Peggy) Rockel: sisters Linda (Steve) Denny, Robin (Larry) Charles, Karen (Dennis) McCloud, Tonya (Benny) Browning and Debbie Muncy Rockel (Ricky): numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Noah was a decorated Vietnam Veteran and inducted into the Ohio Military Ohio Hall of Fame 2003. Recipient of the Bronze Star with "V" and multiple Purple Hearts. He will always remain a hero to his family, friends and a grateful nation.

A celebration of life will be held for all his family and friends from 2:00 - 5:00 PM Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the Grace Baptist Church in Dingess, WV: and from 4:00 - 7:00 PM Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria.
