Funeral services for Mrs. Dona Frances Bell, 76, were held Sunday, in the Lyon Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Hall and Dr. D. L. Druien officiating. She died at Metzmeier Nursing Home Thursday, May 23rd. Mrs. Bell was born June 1, 1892, in Marion County the daughter of Ruben and Mary Catherine Nalley Newcomb. She was married to the late Howard B. Bell, November 1, 1906 and they became the parents of the following children: James and Raymond Bell, and Mrs. Almeada Bell Osborne, all of Campbellsville. Besides her children, she leaves six grandchildren; one brother, George M. Newcomb, Route 3, Campbellsville, and two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Spurling, Glasgow and Mrs. Nannie Misell of Louisville. She was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church and interment was in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Sam Smith, Frank H. Clark, Leonard and Garnett Barnes, Willie Dicken and Gene Judd.
